A sisterhood in Uganda

Powerful women. One heart to serve.

Women of faith, rising together. We save, we grow, we train one another, and we reach out to lift the women and communities around us.

Who we are

More than friends. A sisterhood of empowered women, self-sustaining and whole, who show up for one another and for those around us.

Since 2017 we have saved together, grown in faith together, and cared for the vulnerable around us, month after month.

Our vision

Empowered women, self-sustaining and whole.

What we carry

Six pillars we build on.

i

Spirituality

Our faith is the root of it all. We grow spiritually, with one another and with our families, and we pray each other through.

ii

Sisterhood

We are friends first. We hold one another in fellowship, in the saving, in the laughter and the grief alike.

iii

Empowerment

We save and invest toward self-sustainability, and we equip youth and women with financial literacy that lasts.

iv

Collaboration

We work hand in hand, networking with members, organisations, and partners who share the heart.

v

Social impact

We care for the vulnerable: the elderly, widows, child mothers, people living with disability, and the poor.

vi

Developmental projects

We build things that last, for our members and for the communities we call home.

Our work

The projects, told plainly.

Some run all year. Some come in seasons, as we are able. Each one is real, and each one is finished with care.

Who we are

“God loveth a cheerful giver.”

2 Corinthians 9:7

We are women of faith. We love God, we love one another, and we will not look away from a need we can meet.

Partner with us

Stand with the women doing this work.

Churches, organisations, businesses, and individuals: there is more good work to do than our hands alone can reach. Partner with us, support a pillar, or invest in what these women are building.
